We started Willerby Hill over 14 years ago after working in large PLC organisations.  Our goal was simple – we wanted to setup a down-to-earth solution minded, HR Practice that proactively solved people problems for employers large and small.  Since then we have had the privilege of working with some great organisations both in the UK and overseas in the Middle East on a whole host of HR and People related topics.  Rob Coates

Kirsty Coates

Before coming on board with Willerby Hill, Kirsty was a Cardio Thoracic Nurse and went on her own learning journey to become a qualified adult  training specialist, focusing on train the trainer qualifications and programmes.

Kirsty heads up our training activities, advises on human resource problems and continues to deliver qualifications to employers across Yorkshire.

Most recently Kirsty has led on the development of EverydayHR, our online platform for small and start-up organisations to get advice and support to deal with day to day people problems.

Rob Coates FCIPD

Rob’s journey with HR began in the days of Modern Apprentices and includes stop offs with major Plc’s prior to starting Willlerby Hill.  Since 2006 Rob has been on hand to give 100’s of employers both in the UK and overseas support and guidance on people issues, from strategic projects for multinational organisations through to small businesses in East Yorkshire.

Today, Rob works with many retained customers as part of their senior management team, supporting them as they develop and implement their HR strategies and actions within their businesses.

Rob holds an MSc in Human Resource Management and is a Fellow of the CIPD.
